COVID-19 PROTOCOL
it has always been our priority to deliver a safe and fun experience for our players and staff. As the world has changed, so have our best practices to keep our players safe. To reduce the spread of COVID-19, we will now be implementing new protocols before, during and after leagues, which are outlined below.
BEFORE GAMES:
health declaration
Players and staff will be required to complete a mandatory Health Declaration at Field before each activity they plan to attend to confirm they are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, nor have they come in contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms.
ENTERING THE FIELD:
face covering
All staff and players will be required to wear a face covering upon arrival at the field, between games, during play, and as they exit. Please see below for more detail for requirements during play.
TEMPERATURE CHECK
Before anyone can enter the field, Players and staff will have body temperatures taken via touchless thermometers. Per CDC guidelines, individuals with a body temperature greater than 100.4 degrees, or local guidelines, will not be permitted to participate in the activity.
HAND SANITIZING STATION
Players will be asked to use hand sanitizer when they join and participate in an activity. The hand sanitizer solution kills up to 99.9% of germs and includes 67% ethyl alcohol, above and beyond the CDC's guidelines of 60%.
AT THE FIELD:
SOCIAL DISTANCING
Waiting to check in and around the field, there will be clear markers to keep players 6 feet from each other. Face coverings are required at all time, but please step 6 feet away from other players if you plan to drink water or take a breath.
MODIFIED RULES FOR FACE COVERINGS
During play, penalties will be assessed at the referee’s discretion if a player comes in contact with another player while not covering their nose and mouth.
EQUIPMENT SANITIZATION
For individual use, staff will clean and sanitize equipment before and after every activity. For shared use (such as league games), staff will clean and sanitize shared equipment before, after, and every 20 minutes during gameplay or swap it out with clean equipment.
AFTER YOU LEAVE
NOTIFICATIONS
Please alert Pink Sunday staff if you test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of your last activity participation. We will email notification to all potentially exposed individuals if there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 at a Pink Sunday activity. Please rest assured that we will not reveal your identity to anyone, except essential field personnel.
We look forward to seeing each of you again soon, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
